2009 Gatherings Schedule
Summer Meeting August 1:
The Summer Picnic Meeting will be Saturday
August 1, at Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester/Essex Junction. Our meeting is in conjuction with Fort Ethan Allen Living History Day.
Email us for details on where to meet inside the Fort and how we will participate in the day's events.
Special Attractions:
- Horse Cavalry reenactors portraying the 10th Cavalry (the "Buffalo Soldiers") who were stationed at the Fort exactly 100 years ago in 1909.
- Concert by the 40th Army Band
- History exhibits and museum tours in Fort Ethan Allen and Camp Johnson.
- Food vendors, and general festive atmosphere in a beautiful park.

Fall Meeting October 11:
The Fall Annual Meeting will be Sunday, October 11 at the VYCC barn in Richmond. Once again we will meet in conjunction with the annual VYCC Rendevouz.
Schedule:
- 11 AM: Annual Meeting
- Noon: Lunch
- 12:30: Guest Speaker.
Location: Vermont Youth Conservation Corps "West Monitor Barn" in Richmond Vermont.
Driving Directions: NORTHBOUND: From I-89, take exit 10 (Waterbury). Turn left (south) onto Rte 100 for a short distance, then turn right (west) onto Rte 2 and follow it about 10 miles to the VYCC Barn (on the right side of the road, about halfway between Jonesville and Richmond Village.)
SOUTHBOUND:From I-89, take exit 11 (Richmond). From the exit ramp, turn on Route 2 East (towards the village of Richmond). Continue through the village and look for the Monitor Barn located on the left side of the Route 2, a little ways outside of the village (two miles past the light in the center of Richmond).

National CCC Renunion:
National Reunion sponsored by CCC Legacy.

Location: Littleton, Colorado and the Red Rocks Amphitheater.
